Folks I had some “cheers” Saturday night as we rode My Old Kentucky Dinner Train! Bardstown as you all know is a gem of a city here in the Commonwealth. Melanie Cundiff hosted me and my fiancé Sonja for the “Bourbon Excursion”! Lynne, with Heaven Hill Distillery presented a large group of mostly, out of state peeps, with an hour long tasting and fun chat about their products. What a great night….the food on board the train was off the hook delicious, the service and the ride through the Bernheim Forest unbeatable! Hey lets get out to the ballpark, professional (minor league) ball is played in Louisville, Lexington and Bowling Green! Fun, inexpensive and a great date night option! All three teams have dollar nights and strange and even weird promotional nights so you might win something really nice too!

Finally, the community outside summer concerts that really took off and became such a hit a couple of years ago are seeing record numbers this summer. Many cities have these concerts downtown on Friday’s and I’ve been hitting a different one every other week!
