Tourism means many things to many people. There are festivals, state parks, Bed and Breakfast inns, Amusement parks, hiking, rock climbing, restaurants etc…
But have you ever considered a book fair? The 29th annual Kentucky Book Fair is this weekend. Authors from all across the country will be on hand to sign their books and talk to YOU! Great for holiday gift ideas or simply a chance to visit one of the USA’s top 20 places to raise a family. FRANKFORT! I try to visit the fair every year. Grab a cup of coffee at the CoffeTree and stroll through the Fair and enjoy! http://kybookfair.org/
Kentucky State Parks, www.parks.ky.gov, are offering really affordable winter rates this year! A lodge room or cottage for little money and of course the great array of breakfast, lunch or dinner options will make you feel HAPPY!
We have improved our state tourism website to the point were it’s being recognized as the best of its kind in the country. www.kentuckytourism.com
