Greetings after a HOT, HOT HOT 4th of July Holiday and long weekend! Hope everyone had a somewhat cool, safe and enjoyable holiday! My family certainly did... enjoyed a family get-together, saw the bright lights go up over our area to mark the nations birth and enjoyed a wonderful time in celebration of this great nation! Like Kentucky, there IS ONLY ONE Great USA.

Morning Canoe Trips in Carlisle KY for the novice to the completely experienced. Join in for this great fun and while you're in the area, take a completely narrated Battlefield walking tour and learn the history of the Blue Licks @ the Battlefield State resort park.
Berea Crafts festival is this weekend! What a treat for all! It is July 13th-July 15th in Berea Ky! Lots to see and great gift ideas as well for the impending holiday season that will somehow sneak up on all of us before you know it.
Evening picnic aboard the Dixie Belle at Shaker Village on July, 21st. This could be a fun way to spend the evening with the family by boat!
Many summer series band concerts underway in a variety of areas: Henderson, Bardstown, Bowling Green, Georgetown, Carrollton and on and on and on. Soon we will be encountering the famous 127 yard sale we all look forward to year after year! Can’t wait for the truly priceless bargains and finds. This will be August 2-August, 5th in Frankfort. This yard sale is now 675 miles long from Hudson, Michigan to Gadsden, Alabama. Hop in the car with the family and follow along as far as your gas tank, wallet, patience and curiosity will take you! Should be fun!!
