2011 will be the year we celebrate The Great Bill Monroe’s 100^th Birthday!

Naturally, Owensboro will celebrate in a huge way…and we get to join in!

The news out of the state park front is that the resorts will close through the week

this winter; not the weekends…BUT!!!!!

It’s only the lodge and dining rooms, NOT the Cottages and Golf Courses and hiking trails

and other amenities!!!!!!!!!!! U can Still visit the cottages, trails and other FUN!!!!!!!!!!
