It’s a good week to be in the Bluegrass. Music, Storytelling, Bourbon and Jogging and leaves a’ changing.

This week we can focus on leaves and beauty if nothing else! The world famous Bourbon Chase is this week and it sure has become a major deal. Once this thing took hold it was a huge event.

Stop along the route and root for your favorite race team. Really fun and chilly temps make for comfortable running. www.bourbonchase.com

Check out the great train rides this season in New Haven, Versailles, Big South Fork and other spots.

And “reports of my untimely demise have been greatly exaggerated” lol.

Or something like that; Mark Twain will be personified by Hal Holbrook in Bowling Green this weekend.

Sam Bush is in Frankfort this week at the Grand. Wanna see one of the best instrument pickers

In the world, come to The Grand and check him out. Eddie Van Halen, Slash or Eric Clapton got nuthin on

Sam Bush! Really.
