July 4th Safe and Secure! We Had A Great Weekend!

First things first…. Be safe this weekend; don’t do something stupid behind

the wheel of the boat, car, golf cart etc……….really! Have a blast and let loose

if you want; just don’t make bad decisions. Kentucky tourism wants you

to enjoy and have fun…….but be safe with fireworks too! Enjoy the day off.

Now, we headed out for Mammoth Cave this weekend. We made it as far as

Lincoln Birthplace National Historic Park! We stopped in Hodgenville and then

stopped at the Abbey of Gethsemane and bought a few things. Then we drove

to Bardstown and ate a late lunch at PAT’s PLACE! Hahahah. Real name!

Great day! Fun and educational and not expensive………got home in time

for a cocktail on the patio and to watch the sun go down! Check out these
