Spring Break Last Minute…Gov’s Derby Celebration!

Spring break is on us! Thank goodness. Lots of opportunities

abound as the Louisville Zoo opens Glacier Run, Frazier History museum is wide open,

The Ky. Horse Park and other hot spots are making it affordable for you

and the kids this week! Do it PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now, the annual Governor’s Derby Breakfast is poised for a new beginning!

This year the event will happen in downtown Frankfort with music and museums,

boutiques, breakfast options galore and maybe if we think of it…..a better Kentucky

feel for a Derby homecoming! Come and enjoy and then maybe hit Keeneland, or Churchill

itself. DERBY DAY CELEBRATION IS THE NEW NAME!

Irvine’s Mountain Mushroom festival will have yours truly and WVLK’s

Jack Pattie as Grand Marshall’s this year! The last weekend of this month you’ll

want to come to Estill County and be part of the Mountain Mushroom festival.
