Well we have waited for this week all year. The 2013 Ky. Bourbon Festival is here. All week the good peeps of Bardstown will host visitors as they sample, taste and some perhaps indulge to greater degree in our signature beverage. I encourage you to go. It’s a national hotspot!
A little closer to home is the siege of Boonesboro. My buddy Rob Minerich who manages the State Park expects big crowds as the Native Americans and the fort residents smoke peace pipes and try to work out their differences for the 250th time. lol. Great event and done with dignity and inclusion of all involved.
Camping, ziplining and golf are big at the State Parks this month and next. With cooler temps and a great ColorFall season expected, numbers will be way over estimates I’d say.
