WORLD CHICKEN FESTIVAL, COUNTRY HAM……..

This is a great week in Kentucky! The World comes to London

for the Chicken Festival, people will be running in the streets in Harrodsburg

and Jamestown; Dale Hollow will host golfers and turkey strut runners too!

I’m just going to keep going…..Paris hosts the Secretariat festival,

Lebanon has country ham, Bowling Green and Owensboro has pumpkins

and sorghum………geezzzzzzzzz! Told ya!

Turfway is continuing their horse race meet, Keeneland opens soon and

there is always tailgating and relaxing at Commonwealth.

Hey reminds me; Over the next few weeks I am going to focus on some

smaller label bourbons (for educational purposes only LOL!). Bulleit and Blanton’s

and other labels will be featured here so get ready to get your thinking

cap on with regard to our culture and how Bourbon plays a roll.
