Former Lexington Catholic outfielder Ben Revere has been the subject of several entries here at TV Timeout.  With the minor league season ending, it's time to update the incredible year the Richmond native had.

Revere flirted with .400 this season, trying to become the first Midwest League hitter in 51 years to complete the feat.  An ankle injury late in the year slowed Revere, but the Twins' prospect finished the season with a .375 batting average and led the league with a .433 on-base percentage.  He also swiped 44 bases, second-best in the MWL.

There was talk midway through the season that Revere would be promoted from low-A Beloit, but the Twins decided to let him make a run at history, where Revere rewrote the Snappers' record book.

Revere had one of the best minor league seasons ever by a Kentuckian.  Here is a list of Revere's postseason accolades:

- Midwest League MVP
- Midwest League Prospect of the Year
- Midwest League All-Star
- Midwest League Post-Season All-Star
- Best Batting Prospect (Baseball America)
- Best Strike Zone Judgment (Baseball America)
- Fastest Baserunner (Baseball America)
- Most Exciting Player (Baseball America)
- Topps Co-Midwest League Player of the Month (May)
- Minnesota Twins Minor League Player of the Month (May)
- Brodie Trophy Player of the Year

Those are the highlights... Stay tuned.
