The NCAA has released its weekly statistics and UK's defensive efforts have led to some eye-catching numbers.

Here are a few of the stats in which the Wildcats are nationally-ranked:

• 12th nationally, allowing only 65 rushing yards per game.
• 19th nationally, yielding just over 124 yards passing per game.
• 7th nationally with 4 interceptions.
• 3rd nationally in pass efficiency defense (62.58 rating).
• 10th nationally in total defense (184.5 yards per game).
• 12th nationally in 3rd down conversion defense (20.7 percent).
• 12th nationally in first downs defense (12 per game).
• 7th nationally in kickoff return yardage (14.33 yards per game).
• Trevard Lindley is tied for 5th nationally with an interception in each of UK's games
• Johnny Williams is tied for 16th nationally with 2 sacks.
