On Friday, several hundred Wildcat fans waited in line outside Memorial Coliseum.  They were there to pick up vouchers for the following day's Big Blue Madness ticket distribution.

Meanwhile, UK basketball players and staff members were plotting a way to show their appreciation for the folks who had been camping out for days, in anticipation of getting Madness tickets.  The UK folks decided they would order up pizzas.

So just before 7:00 Friday evening, Wildcat players delivered 50 pizzas to the fans at the Coliseum. And while there wasn't enough pizza to feed everyone that ringed the building, it was a nice gesture to those who spent days and nights in tents outside.

Players took pictures, signed autographs and thanked the fans for their devotion. 

23,000 Madness tickets were handed out in 40 minutes, meaning the event is another sellout.  Big Blue Madness is Oct. 10, at Rupp Arena.
