Georgetown football coach Bill Cronin was spotted at the Mid-South Conference basketball tournament in Frankfort, cheering on the school's basketball teams.  With a crutch under one arm, Cronin, ever the trooper, explained that he needed the extra support following hip replacement surgery several weeks ago.

Cronin, who's Tiger football teams have won 14 conference titles and 3 national championships, said he'd been suffering with pain in the hip for some time.  The coach said he decided to have the procedure done during the offseason, with hopes of being ready for fall camp.

The two-time national Coach of the Year said he's getting around and is pain free.

Here's hoping Cronin is back on the field soon, preparing the black and orange for another run at a championship.

Those are the highlights... Stay tuned.
