New UK coach John Calipari continues to impress during his first week in Lexington.  On Thursday, Calipari walked into the Nutter indoor practice facility to meet Rich Brooks and his football Wildcats, as they wrapped up their second day of spring workouts.

Brooks, standing at midfield, walked over to greet coach Cal, who marveled at the UK practice facility.  "I'm looking forward to getting to know you and spending some time with you," the new coach told Brooks.

The two coaches talked for several minutes before Brooks asked if he could introduce Calipari to his team.  As they walked toward the team, the Wildcats took a knee near midfield.  Brooks introduced the new basketball coach, who received a rousing ovation from the assembled players.

"I want us to be a family," Calipari could be heard telling the UK football team.  "I want to help recruit.  I want you guys to help us recruit."

"They (fans) expect us to win every game and they want you to win every game.  We've got to do this stuff together," Calipari continued.

Calipari said he hoped to meet every player and wished the football Wildcats luck.

Those are the highlights... Stay tuned.
