Leave it to Kentucky coach John Calipari to think outside the box.  Using his visibility as the leader of the Big Blue Nation, Calipari, his Wildcats and the staff at WKYT will team up for a fund raising mission this Sunday for the victims of this week's earthquake in Haiti.

Calipari is the master of motivation and he's hoping that UK fans will dig into their pockets and give generously to Haitians in what he's billing Hoops for Haiti.

UK is trying to get NCAA clearance to bring the Wildcats into the studio to help answer telephones.

Calipari is banking on his circle of friends (think LeBron, JayZ) to make Sunday's telethon a success.  I'd bet he digs deep into his own wallet to kick things off.
