Nets, new owner, likely to steer clear of Cousins in draft

DeMarcus Cousins is regarded as an enigma for NBA teams -- he's got all the ability in the world, but teams are leery of taking him based upon his uncontrollable outburts. One writer thinks the Nets, who have the third pick, should stay away from Cousins.

Former UK guard John Wall likely will be the first pick in the NBA Draft next month.  After that, it becomes a beauty pagent.

DeMarcus Cousins is regarded as an enigma for NBA teams -- he's got all the ability in the world, but teams are leery of taking him based upon his uncontrollable outburts.  To be fair, I'm sure there are a few teams that didn't see Cousins down the stretch of last season, when he was constantly being double and triple teamed, yet kept his emotions in check.

Still, he remains high on the list of players being drafted. 

One ESPN writer says the New Jersey Nets, with the third pick in the draft, should stay away from Cousins.
