Bledsoe wants to be second point guard selected on draft day

Former Wildcat Eric Bledsoe knows the score -- his teammate at Kentucky, will be the top pick in this month's NBA Draft. Still, that doesn't faze Bledsoe, who says he's pushing hard to be the second point guard selected.

Still, that doesn't faze Bledsoe, who says he's pushing hard to be the second point guard selected.

"That's why these workouts are so competitive, because everybody's trying to be the second point guard behind John," Bledsoe told reporters on Wednesday, following a workout with the Pacers.

A.J. Slaughter, the Western Kentucky guard, joined Bledsoe and four others in Indianapolis, where the group was closely watched by Pacers President Larry Bird.
