UK tailback Derrick Locke will sport a new look for the next month: a splint on his left arm.
The senior from Hugo, Okla. suffered a fractured ulna on Thursday night after wrecking his moped. Locke will be in the brace for a least a month, according to UK spokesperson Tony Neely.
As one of UK's main offensive threats, Locke, along with Randall Cobb, is expected to shoulder a bigger burden next season. Locke is being mentioned in the pre-season as an All-SEC player.
According to Neely, Locke will be re-evaluated in about a month and the injury shouldn't effect Locke's playing status next fall.
