UK fans, remember Clifford Rozier?
Then-UK coach Rick Pitino made the 6-foot-11 center a priority when Rozier decided to transfer out of North Carolina.
After playing in a Final Four his freshman season with the Tar Heels, the Bradenton, Fla. native left Chapel Hill and had his sights set on Kentucky.
During an official visit in 1991, UK guard Sean Woods took Rozier to a Kentucky Derby Party in Louisville, which violated the NCAA's 30-mile travel limitation for prospects on official visits. UK and Pitino admitted the mistake and Rozier was free to sign with Louisville.
Rozier parlayed an All-American career with the Cardinals into an NBA career, becoming a first-round pick in 1994.
Now, Rozier is broke, trying to get his life in order, all while battling mental illness. Here is the link to Rozier's amazing story, as he struggles with the fight of his life.
