The Lexington airport is expecting UK to return home as SEC champions. On Thursday, Blue Grass Field officials released the plan for fans and media to welcome back the Wildcats on Sunday.
While it’s not known what time the Cats could return on Sunday (we know they’ll watch the Selection Show in New Orleans), we do know that fans will be instructed to enter the airport off Man O’War Blvd. and Airport Road, and greet the Cats from a viewing area between Tex Sutton Air and the Aviation Museum of Kentucky.
There will be signage and police directing fans to the viewing area.
