Boyle Co. linebacker Lamar Dawson has been named to the 90-man roster of the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
Dawson, being courted by nearly every major D-1 school in the country, joins the likes of Tim Tebow, Mark Sanchez and Percy Harvin, in playing in the 10th annual all-star game. The game has turned out 151 NFL draft picks, including 43 first-rounders.
Dawson says he's enjoying the recruiting process. Recently, he attended the Stanford-Oregon game and says he will make an unofficial visit to Kentucky, when the Cats host Georgia on Oct. 23.
The U.S. All-American Bowl will be played on Jan. 8, at the Alamodome. The game will be nationally televised by NBC.
