Nike made an offer to former Wildcat John Wall to be a company pitch man. Instead, he signed with Reebok. Are these the shoes Nike was hoping to market in his name?

John Wall quickly is becoming a household name among NBA basketball fans and Reebok is expecting the former UK guard to sell thousands of shoes. It's why the company is paying him millions of dollars to endorse their products.

But before he became a Reebok guy, Wall was courted by Nike, the same company that has a multi-million dollar deal in place with the University of Kentucky and outfits all UK teams from head to toe.

Wall's signature shoe, Reebok's ZigTech Slash, is out on the market now.

But had he signed an endorsement deal with Nike, could these be the shoes every young Wildcat fan would be clamoring for?
