A country music star from central Kentucky says he is battling cancer.
Eddie Montgomery of Montgomery Gentry has been diagnosed with prostate cancer and will have surgery next month.
CMT.com reports that Montgomery released a statement saying "I will be back in January ready to rock for all the fans" and "please keep my family and me in your prayers."
