The governor and first lady spent a day at the races today, participating in the Horses and Hope Race Day at Churchill Downs.

This is the third consecutive fall race that goers have been encouraged to wear pink in support of breast cancer awareness.

The race day featured a luncheon buffet on Millionaire's Row for breast cancer survivors. Horses and Hope works with the state's equine industry to provide breast cancer education, screening and treatment for workers.
