BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - Head coach Tommy Reid recently unveiled the 2009 Union College football schedule, which features four home dates and six roads games.

The schedule will also three regionally televised games through Wazoo Sports with the first being at home against Faulkner (Ala.) University on Sept. 19. The next week, Union will visit Georgetown (Ky.) College on Thursday, Sept. 24, for another televised contest. The third televised game is set for Oct. 17 when Union plays at Pikeville (Ky.) College.

The Bulldogs will also face a NCAA Division I squad on Thursday, Sept. 10, when they will travel to Hammond, La., to face Southeastern Louisiana University.

Also on tap for Union are six Mid-South Conference East games beginning with the season and home opener against UVa-Wise on Sept. 5.

Homecoming and Senior Day are set for Oct. 24 when the Bulldogs play host to Shorter (Ga.) College.

The Bulldogs posted a 9-3 overall record and went 5-1 in MSC East play. Union also ended the year ranked No. 10 in the NAIA and advanced to the NAIA Championship Series for the first time in program history.
