The University of the Cumberlands Men’s Basketball Patriots just finished hosting their annual Youth Day Camp. 75 campers from around the area participated in drills, 3 vs 3, 5 vs 5, and other specialty games throughout the week.

The morning sessions were dedicated to drills to get the campers loose but get them ready to work in the afternoon shifts. The campers were presented a UC Men’s Basketball Youth Camp shirt on Thursday for all their hard work and dedication throughout the week.

University of the Cumberlands Head Men’s Basketball Coach Don Butcher commented about the camp. “Youth camp is my favorite camp to operate,” said Butcher. “The players are very eager to learn and this group was very talented and played hard this week. The future is bright for the area because these young men are talented.”

The Patriots will be hosting a Big Man Camp on the University of the Cumberlands campus on June 28th through July 2nd. For more information on camps and Patriot athletics, please visit Patriots Athletics
