The University of Cumberlands’ Football Team moved up one spot in the NAIA Caches’ Poll for the week of October 26, 2009. The 7-1, Patriots were previously ranked #13 and are now tied for the 12th spot with Northwestern College (Iowa). Both Cumberlands and Northwestern received 243 points.

The #1 team in the poll, University of Sioux Falls (South Dakota), is 8-0 with 444 points. There were also two other Mid-South Conference teams ranked in the Top 25. 5-3, Campbellsville University received 36 points which placed them at the #24 spot and 5-3 Shorter College received 35 points which squeaked them in at the # 25 spot.

#12 Cumberlands will host #24 Campbellsville University on Saturday October 31, 2009 for senior day and their last home game of the regular season. Kick-off is scheduled for 1:30 PM at Taylor, II Stadium in Williamsburg, KY.
