Sisters killed in Clay County house fire

MANCHESTER, Ky. (WKYT) - Two women are dead after a a mobile home fire in Clay County.

The fire started early Monday morning on Paw Paw Road, west of Manchester.

The coroner identified the victims as sisters Selina Duff, 42, and Jessica Duff, 36. Their father, Dennis Duff, was able to escape the home safely, according to the coroner.

State police say both the father and a police officer tried to get to the women, but were not able to.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, but officials do not suspect foul play. A Kentucky State Police arson investigator is on the scene.
