Pulaski family still searching for justice 7 years after murder

SOMERSET, Ky. (WKYT) - Kevin Price was just 21 when he disappeared from his family in November of 2009. The search for his body lasted weeks…as the holiday season was just beginning.

“And your children are wondering where their brother is. Why he can’t be there," said Price's father, Jeff of the mood around their gatherings then.

Price was found dead on Thanksgiving weekend that year. Police say he was murdered. And now 7 years later….his family says they are still searching for justice.

“It doesn’t matter. I’m not stopping, my children will not stop. My nieces won’t stop, my nephews won’t stop. No one is going to stop until they are in jail," said Price.

Kevin Price would be 28 now. His family wonders what he would be doing. Would he be married….with kids of his own.

“We had a very special bond. I loved to take him shopping. Eat out with him. I don’t get to do that anymore," said Price's grandmother Lela Whitaker.

The Pulaski County Sheriff's Office is investigating. In the past they have said they have evidence but not enough to make the arrests. Whitaker says she is willing to offer a reward if that helps…the amount they say would be substantial.

“The only thing we can do is to think positive…and ask people to help us. Put our son to rest and at ease," said Price.

The family says any information..could be more than they have now.

Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff's office at 606-678-5145.
