BOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) -- An assistant principal at Fairview High School has been suspended without pay while the school investigates claims the assistant principal overdosed.
Fairview Superintendent Michael Taylor tells Gray affiliate WSAZ that deputies from Lewis County contacted the school district after the assistant principal at Fairview High School overdosed.
Taylor says no charges have been filed at this time against the assistant principal. The individual has been placed on a 10-day suspension with pay, while the investigation continues.
According to Taylor, the assistant principal was revived by Narcan.
Taylor says children were in the home when the overdose happened, they were removed.
