LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Investigators are working to determine what sparked a fire at a home in Lexington
Someone reported the fire to dispatchers just before 11 Thursday morning.
Firefighters arrived at the home on Carlisle Avenue to find smoke coming from the roof. The fire was located in the attic above the living room of the home.
Fire crews had to dig a hole in the roof to get to the flames. The home has two roofs which created some issues for firefighters in getting to the flames.
The fire is out. The living room has smoke and water damage.
No one was home at the time of the fire. Investigators are still looking into the cause of the fire.
