Charges pending in threat made at Morgan Co. High School

MORGAN CO., Ky. (WKYT) - The Morgan County School Police Department says officers have identified two suspects in a threat made at the high school.

Morgan County Schools Superintendent Deatrah Barnett says students were sent home for the rest of the day after a note was found in a bathroom at Morgan County High School on Monday.

Police say they were able to identify two students who they believe made the threat. Charges are pending for those two students.They will also face disciplinary action from the school.

The school had heightened security on Tuesday morning at the high school. Officials searched each student as they entered the building.
