We are putting the wraps on a chilly, but very nice weather day across our part of the world. This nice weather hangs tough for one more day, then some soggy changes move in for the weekend.
Friday looks absolutely gorgeous with highs in the mid and upper 50s with a mix of sun and clouds. Winds will be gusty from the southwest.
That southwest wind is ahead of a storm system moving in for the weekend. This will bring rounds of heavy rain our way, potentially causing some local high water issues. The highest risk for that is across southern and eastern parts of the state. That's where 2"-3" of rain may fall.
Much lighter rains will fall in the north and west. Temps will chill down on Sunday, with a small potential for some mixed precipitation by Sunday night.
The pattern remains active next week, as temps stay seasonal.
