Chris Bailey's Forecast | Irma's rain and wind arrives in Kentucky

By  |

What's left of Hurricane Irma will impact the bluegrass state over the next few days. This means rainy and windy weather for our region.

Moderate to heavy rain overspreads the state from southeast to northwest this evening and tonight. Gusty showers will then continue into Tuesday. Rain amounts of 1"-2" will be possible. Winds may gust to 35mph at times.

The center of Irma will pass across the region on Wednesday with more heavy rains possible.

This system will finally move away on Thursday, leaving us with much warmer air for the upcoming weekend.
