Chris Bailey's Forecast | Snow showers and cold temps ahead

By  |

Old Man Winter is blowing back into town tonight, bringing much colder temps and snow showers.

Winds will continue to be gusty as a cold front drops in from the northwest. Rain showers ahead of this will change to snow showers as temps drop below freezing tonight.

Rounds of snow showers and flurries will then continue through Wednesday and into Thursday, with light accumulations possible. The best chance will be in the mountains of eastern Kentucky.

Highs will be in the 30s with lows in the 20s, but wind chills may hit the teens at times. Another rain or snow maker moves in by Friday evening, with another possible by Sunday.

Temps through early next week will continue to run much colder than normal.
