Showers are quickly moving away from the region, leaving us with a chill in the overnight air. That chill will then turn mild as we head into the upcoming weekend, but big changes are coming next week.
Lows tonight will be near 30 with a clear late night sky. Highs for the first day of December reach the upper 40s and low 50s with nice weather.
That nice weather hangs through the weekend with mild southwesterly winds kicking in.
A massive pattern change then takes place early next week. Showers and thunderstorms increase late Monday into Tuesday ahead of a cold front. That front slams in here with a 40 degree temp drop behind it by Wednesday. That's when some light snow will be possible.
Arctic air then takes control for the rest of the week.
