JACKSON COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT)- The Jackson County Deputy Coroner along with State Police investigators are on the scene of two bodies found after a car fire in Jackson County.
According to officials, the bodies were found in a remote area of Jackson County on Rock Lick Creek Road. Officials had the road blocked off while they investigated.
Kentucky State Police say two people were found dead following a vehicle fire. It is unknown if foul play was involved at this time. The deputy coroner said one victim is a male, and the other is female.
The bodies are being taken to the medical examiner's office in Frankfort for autopsies and identification.
