LAWRENCEBURG, Ky. (WKYT) - A Clay County dog is beginning a new life after it was adopted by an organization which will train it to become a therapy animal.
Deuce the Two Legged Wonder Dog will be heading to Pennsylvania where it will work at a children's hospital and an amputee rehab center.
The dog was found with a gunshot wound and left legs injured beyond repair, so it had to have them amputated. Deuce would rehab at Anderson County dog rescue Camp Jean.
Deuce will have a going away party Saturday at Brighton Animal Clinic in Lexington.
