LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Upscale eatery Travinia Italian Kitchen has shut its doors becoming the first business part of Fayette Mall's 2014 expansion to close.
On its Facebook page, the restaurant chain announced the closure Monday morning. "Thank you for your patronage and loyalty to our restaurant," reads the post. "We hope you will be able to dine with us at one of our 11 other locations."
The restaurant opened in 2015 following the mall's expansion that and redevelopment of the former Sears location which created 115,000 square feet of new retail space for a mix of fashion stores, home furnishings and dining. Other new businesses included The Cheesecake Factory, H&M, Eddie Bauer, Oakley, Clarks, Jos. A Bank, Swarovski, Janie and Jack, Altar'd State and Vera Bradley.
