CASEY COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - Kentucky State Police arrested a man in connection to the death of a man in Casey County in 2017.
Troopers charged John Whitaker, 37, of Frankfort, on charges of manslaughter, six counts of assault, and driving under the influence of drugs.
State police say a Casey County grand jury indicted Whitaker on Monday in the death of 26-year-old Phillip Tayler Dillon.
Troopers say he was driving under the influence of drugs on U.S. 127 in Casey County when he caused a four vehicle collision that killed Dillon and injured six others.
Whitaker is lodged in the Franklin County Regional Jail.
