LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - The Lexington-Fayette County Health Department says it found duck carcasses hanging by a restaurant dumpster Tuesday.

The health department received the complaint Tuesday at the Panda Cuisine on Nicholasville Road, and when inspectors arrived, they spotted the dead ducks outside by the dumpster.

The restaurant disposed of the ducks, and now the health department is arranging a conference with them to discuss safe practices.

Panda Cuisine was in violation of two federal health codes, including food protection and potentially hazardous food-safe temperature.

If restaurant operators fail to attend the conference, their permit will be suspended and the restaurant will close.
