Jackknifed truck, road paving snarls traffic on I-75

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT)- A jackknifed truck and trailer halted travel on I-75 southbound in Lexington.

Officials say the crash happened at the 113-mile marker.

At one point, traffic backed past the 115-mile marker at Newtown Pike.

The state transportation department reported just before 3:00 that crews had cleared the crash.

Drivers are also experiencing backups on I-75 northbound at the Clays Ferry Bridge. The transportation department is doing paving work on the roadway. Officials say to expect long delays in the area.
