Jim Caldwell's Forecast | A few typical summer days

By  |

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A little heat with some humidity and isolated storms will be showing up this week. Nothing like last week... yet!

The daily threat of rain will begin today! Once again, showers & storms will begin to pop-up during the afternoon and evening hours. This is one of those situations that will mean some will see rain and others will get away rain free. Where you do see rain, it has the potential to be heavy at times. In between the scattered storms will be plenty of heat. It isn't the heat like last week, it is the normal heat for July!

A front will make its way through the area later this week. It will not do much for the heat, but it will strike down the showers & storms for a couple of days! By the weekend, expect the heat to try to make a resurgence!

Have a great Monday!
