FRANKFORT, Ky. (WKYT) - A Kentucky man is accused of using an online messaging app to send child sex videos to Canada.

Christopher Howze, 30, of Louisville was charged with three felony child sex crimes after state authorities arrested him Thursday.

Investigators say Howze sent the videos depicting minors engaged in sex acts from his home. Authorities say they seized mobile devices from the residence and found dozens of images and videos.

Federal authorities assisted the state in this investigation.

Howze is being held at Louisville Metro Corrections.

The Attorney General's office says cyber investigators have arrested more than 145 people in two years.
