LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Lexington crews blocked off Leestown Road, just outside of New Circle Road, following a crash involving two tractor-trailers.

The crash happened around 5:15 Tuesday morning. A semi hauling scrap metal crashed into a UPS semi at Opportunity Way, the entrance to UPS.

Diesel fuel from one of the semis leaked onto the road.

Police had Leestown Road shut down in both directions until about 7:30 a.m. when one inbound lane was opened.

Crews were able to remove the tractor-trailers and reopen all lanes just after 11 a.m.
