LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A Lexington Hardee's is expected to be closed for days following a Thursday afternoon fire.
Firefighters say the fire started in a ventilation unit at the restaurant chain's Winchester Road location, and the flames were extensive when they arrived at the scene.
Crews were able to contain the fire to an area on the roof around the ventilation unit.
The fire will likely cause the fast food restaurant to remain closed for days. The health department will have to inspect the building before Hardee's can reopen.
No one was injured in the fire.
