LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A co-owner of Willie's Locally Known in Lexington is asking for help.
Wilson Sebastian posted a video on Facebook Monday night saying business is very difficult for locally-owned independent restaurants.
Sebastian says he is not worried about his business closing down, but after four local restaurants closed in one month, he doesn't want more independent spots to go the same route.
"If you can't make it over to Southland Drive, go visit some of the other locally-owned restaurants," Sebastian said. "They are feeling it too, I guarantee it."
The post on Facebook now has more than 400 shares on Facebook.
Some restaurant owners say The Summitt at Fritz Farm has been a factor in the slow business.
