LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - The merger of a Lexington based company with Asian investors has been completed.
Lexmark announced Tuesday their successful completion of their acquisition by a consortium of investors (Consortium) led by Apex Technology Co., Ltd. (Apex) and PAG Asia Capital (PAG).
The company will still be based in Lexington, however David Reeder will will replace Paul Rooke as the company's new president and CEO.
Lexmark's Enterprise Software group will also see change, as it will be separated from the company and re-branded to Kofax.
The company's stock has ceased trading on the New York Stock Exchange, and Lexmark shareholders will receive $40.50 per share in cash.
It is unclear at this time if any jobs will be lost due to the acquisition.
