Local musicians to honor Tom Petty with tribute

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT)- Local musicians are coming together to honor music legend, Tom Petty.

Twenty-five musicians will be playing tribute to the legacy of Tom Petty who suddenly died last week.

The tribute will be held at Lexington music venue, The Burl on Sunday, October 15 at 5:00 p.m.

Organizers say all proceeds from the tribute will be donated to the National Compassion Fund to support families and loved ones affected by the Las Vegas shooting. They say you must be over the age of 16 to watch.

The following bands will be playing during the event;
