Man indicted for murder following 2016 deadly accident

PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT)- A man has been indicted for murder following a 2016 crash that left Pulaski County man dead.

Police say Billie Vanover was high on drugs when he hit and killed Charles Graves in July of 2016. They say he was high on meth and has been indicted on murder for the crash.

The crash happened on South highway 27 loop number 3 and 27 on July 4, 2016. Police said Vanover swerved through three lanes hitting Graves vehicle and killing him.

Graves mother says that her son was a recovering addict and helping others who struggle with addiction when the crash happened. She says her only hope for Vanover is that he changes his life.

“I just hope he corrects the wrongs in his life.”

Billie Vanover is in the Pulaski County jail under a 200,000 full cash bond. Jail records show he was picked up by a Us Marshal.
